Well hello there and welcome to my rather empty blog.
I've never really been able to sit and find the time and learn how to drive it properly, but 2012 is the year of new things, and so here I am 'having a go!'
2011 was a funny ol' year for me... lots of big changes and not really much time to sew or be a top bizniz woman. (Last year I would not have made Sir Alan proud).
And so, to celebrate a new year/new start kinda thing, and for thanking my delightful Facebook likers for sticking with me and not deserting me in harsh times, I thought it would be pertinent to start the year off with a giveaway... and to that end, I give you Wonky Woger...
Ta Daaaa....
Now, if you happen to make me laugh with your comment, I will give you an extra entry into the draw... and if you decide to publicise this giveaway in any form (re-blog, tweet, publicise on FB or whatever) then let me know and I will also give you another entry (you don't need to leave links as proof... you're an honest lot and if you say you've done it then I believe you).
Of course, please leave your email address so that I can contact you if you win, and at this point, I feel the need to point out that Wogers (as with all Odd Sox critters) are not made as toys for small children. They much prefer the company of older personages - as they do not tend to swing them about by their legs or their funny ear type things.
So that's it I think... let the commenting commence...
*holds breath, crosses fingers and hopes that someone actually does want to welease Woger*
I'M HERE!!!!!!!!! I figured out the tinterwebs and evryfink! :))))
ReplyDeleteWell done Socksy Beasts. You should have a medal!
Delete(and some pretty little 'Say it With Soxies' cards on account of you being all first an' that)! :D
Yay. Love Wonky Woger. I'd love him to remind me to look after my teeth and visit the dentist more!
ReplyDeleteI've just started my new blog and I'm planning to do a post called 'Daft Junk' awesome recycled/upcycled stuff that'll make you smile. It'd be ace to include some of your brilliant characters.xxx
Hey LauraBeth, good luck with your new blog - we like the sound of Daft Junk - and of course, we'd love to be included if ever you found the time!
DeleteWith regards to Woger... if he didn't remind you to visit the dentist more, then I don't know what would!! x
p.s. you also get some of our 'Say It With Soxies' cards for being all swift and speedy!
We'll be in touch for your address...
Well hello there....all the way from the wonderful land of Oz
ReplyDeleteHey Susann... G'day to you! (and congratulations on also winning some 'Say It With Soxies' little notecards)! x
DeleteI love Woger,he can come and join my crazy house of crazy characters including my 6 chickens ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteHey Liz... Woger likes the sound of your house... he's used to chickens so he'd fit right in if you win!! x
Deleteawww poor little Woger. i would love to give the little cutie a home. as like myself i had to many teeth as a child and had 4 taken out and years of ouchie hurtie wires strapped to my mouth.. i would love him..
ReplyDeletealso woot to you starting a blog hun.. clicks follow button..
hugs from Debra
Hey Debra... poor you with those ouchie hurtie wires... we all wanna come give you hugs and make the nasty memories go away!! ;) x
Deletewoger is indeed a delightful looking chap, but i prefer his dashingly handsome older brother, wodewick.
ReplyDeleteOh Sal, I'm afraid that Wodewick has alweady been weleased! ;) x
DeleteYeah odd sox I'd love to adopt wodger I seem to have a nack when it comes to things that aren't right I'vealways attracted life's little waifs and strays and are happy to look after them as every one of them is just perfick to me xxxx northernmonkie2002@yahoo.co.uk
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a perfect adoptive mum Kate. :) x
DeleteWhhops I am a numpty today - forgot to leave my email address! laurabethdesign@gmail.com
ReplyDeletelol... it's ok - I'm a numpty everyday!! ;)
DeleteI'm in love with Wonky Woger!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a child I remember my brother used to wear a brace and it freaked me out. He used to take it out and wave it at me and make me scream and cry and run away...
Therefore when the time came a few years later when the dentist suggsted to me to wear a brace I point blank refused! I think me and Wonky would understand each other. We'd both be "special" in many terms of endearment and he'd fit right in here with me, my critters and we could be Wonky together. :D
(Shared you on my facebook too).
Thanks for sharing - I think you and Woger would have a lot in common! ;) x
DeleteOoo.. forgot to say that I don't like leaving my email address on these things but you know where to find me - cutedesigns. :) x
ReplyDeleteOK, god, now I need to 1. Prove my worthiness as a parent, 2. Make you laugh, 3. Publicize your page *again* on Facebook (people are going to think we're on love!) and 4. Give you my email. K, well, #4 is easy: hilary@hilaryemersonlay.com.
ReplyDeleteI would make a good Wonky Woger parent because I just SOL'ed (squealed out loud) when I saw his picture, and I love stripes, and as the creator of wonky and strange critters myself, I would take VERY good care of him. He'd go for car rides with me. Just sayin'.
Good for you for reviving your blog. We'd never desert you. We LOVE you.
K, enough buttering up.
;)
H.
So, is Hilary short for hilarious? ;)
DeleteHelloooo, we love Woger, he would fit right in with out wonky family, we have a lovely autistic child, one we suspect has ADHD and a diva for a daughter, I commented on your Lola in a tutu before as my daughter is Lola too, and she wears her tutu all the time with her biker boots!!! But anyway, back to the point, there is a huge space here just awaiting a Wonky Woger to fill it.
ReplyDeletexxxx
Hey Louise... I remember you and Lola - she sounds like our kinda gal!! ;) x
DeleteBut of Course someone wants Woger... who wouldn't he is really a bit cute!
ReplyDeleteI have re-posted it on FB for you (what's that they call it.. oh yes, "sharing"... well, I did that anyhooo).
And as it's you (and you're offering the wonderful and wonky Woger for a prize), I have posted your blog link on the top spot of my blog's News column. Who knows, you may even get some visitors from there too!
As for me... why wouldn't I want Wonky Woger? He is cute, gorgeous and he has a aaaamaaaazing red smile wiv biiiig teeefs! After the Grump, who sits there looking worried and grouchy all day, I think the Studio could do with a bit of smiling cheeriness (of course, I'd better not expose Grump and Woger to each other too much, especially at first - don't want Grump to suffer brain damage from all that overbearing happiness...)
Woger needs a good home. So, send him here, where we have about 10 bazillion happy sock peoples, all hanging round the studio being busy...(how else do you think those books get made, when I spend all day sat here faffing with Facebook?). Woger will have a ready-made family, who will appreciate his quirky qualities and gorgeous grin.
And so will I.
I promise, that if you send him to us, we will feed him properly, take good care that he washes behind his ears.. oh, and I'll fit him in with our family dental appointment next July, just to be sure he's taking good care of those t'riffic teefs!
Come home Wonky Woger - we want you!
Hey Lizzie.... cute and gorgeous... are we talking about the same Woger? ;) x
DeleteWonky Woger should come and live at my house because we could be weird and wonky togeher! (Darn hip gives me a 'funky' walk!)
ReplyDeleteAnd he'd also get love from my kitties who ADORE teddies and cuddlies!
steffi.weids@hotmail.co.uk
Hey Stephanie.... Woger thinks you sound like a funky chick... he's got his beady eye on you! ;) x
DeleteAwwws! His name is Wonky ... he must be mine! Well seeing as my site is Wonky Ware ... oh he could even be the new mascot! I have all my tootsies and touchy-feelie digits crossed xxx
ReplyDeleteWonky Ware? Oh I think you were just made for each other! ;) x
DeleteWell, well, well, Wonky Wodger is Wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteLike him I didn't wear my braces either and demanded to have the horrible glued on ones removed - so I am now a Funky Fiona with my Freakishly wonky teeth! So we would fit well together!
Keeping my fingers crossed that the Wovely Wodger wants to Wive Wiv me!!!
Woger thinks you sound completely adorable Fiona... who wouldn't want to wive wiv you? ;) x
DeleteI'd love to win Wonky Wodger, he'd fit in well at our house, we're all wonky in our own special ways, but hey! Who'se perfect? Who wants to be? Wodger could come with me to school to meet all the pupils :) he could smile them into working, they're suckers for cute and cuddly and once they see his grin they'll fall in love with him :)
ReplyDeleteFingers, legs, toes and eyes crossed x
Karen.Wood1@btinternet.com
We just actually el oh elled Karen when we read that you had your eyes crossed!! ;)) x
DeleteOoo, pick me! Pick me! Pick me! Big teeth = big heart! We shall adore him!
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right of course, he does have a great big heart. He's full of love is our Woger! ;) x
DeleteWonky Woger is so cute and it would be nice to have a fluffy to myself the gremlins in my house keep nabbing all of mine :/ I truely hope this cutie finds a miraculous home.
ReplyDeleteBTW i for got to add that I am sharing your blog, page and giveaway on both my blog and my page on facebook under Crystal Hiller.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Crystal... Woger says if he comes to live with you, he'll sort out those gremlins no problem! ;) x
DeleteWow Woger is just way too cute. Ruby my daughter just started laughing when she saw him and said I want him. So I asked her why he should come live with us. She said, he could come and live with all my dolls and I love his big teeth. I will let him sleep with my babies on their bunk beds, I think they would be best friends. So I think he would be a perfect fit over here :) I'm over at Ollie and Rose Glad your back :)
ReplyDeleteHey Ollie and Rose... we think Ruby sounds like the perfect friend for our Woger... :) x
DeleteWonky Woger, what a wonder,
ReplyDeleteWith teeth so large and eyes like thunder,
I really LOVE YOU, be my friend,
If you're good, you can call me 'Wend'!
I work in a lovely school, it even has a swimming pool,
You can come with me to play
With HUNDREDS of children - every day!
You will make them smile and grin,
Their eyes will shine and they'll glow within...
So come on Woger, be my friend,
And I'll love you FOREVER, until the end....... xxxxxxx
We wanted to reply to your comment in rhyme..
DeleteBut really we just couldn't find the time! ;) x
Wonger is simple perrrfikkk to meeeeeeeeee, I luff's him, and he would be happy with my crazy crew. I wants him to be Mattys mascot to show him you don't have to be perfect, different is wonderfuls xxx
ReplyDeleteCaz - you are so right... and Woger agrees. Different is indeed wunnerful. :) x
DeleteOh yay! I feel that the demon bunny monster could use a friend! Perhaps it'd stop him from poking me in the face with his tail when I'm sleeping. Oh and yes, I am linking this on the erinmakesstuff facebook. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Erin... I can't imagine how much sleep you'd get if you had a wonky friend AND a demon one! ;) x
DeleteWoger is awesome! I've got a 5 yr old with a couple loose teeth and entirely too many that are crowding her pretty little mouth! We've been trying to get her to work on her loose teeth so that her poor crowded little pearlies can move into their rightful places so he would remind her how important it is to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle!
ReplyDeleteAnd I will DEFINITELY repost this, he's adorable!
He would sing that song to her all day... the one that goes... "wiggle it, just a little bit" ;) x
Deletewell, you know what they say about a guy with big teeth, don't you?
ReplyDelete(big teeth................................................ big toothbrush.)
snoooork! ;)
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWell, you see.. I have sort of a "soft" spot in my heart for handmade plushies of all kinds. Coincidentally most of the other plushies I own have their own dental issue. Fangs that get in the way of cuddles, and one even has his mouth sewn shut! Woger would fit right in.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin.. He'd have lots of a cool friends to hang with.
alyssasicoli@gmail.com
It sounds like Woger would fit right in with you and your crew Alyssa! ;) x
DeleteHello Wonky Woger I am Scatty Chick and I so need a new friend in my life :) You see Woger I am a forces wife and we move alot every 10-20 months we have to pack up and start again and once the husband has gone off to work and the monkey's have run off to find new friends at school I am all alone. Oh Michelle... Woger just wants to come and give you a great big cuddle and save you from feeling all alone! ;) x
DeleteI'd love to have one of your lovely fellows and Woger is just awesome. I'm a toy maker too, so I'd be very careful when tending to Woger. I'm kind of like a plushie-whisperer. I would know just what he needed. And I love collecting toys from other makers, so he'd have plenty of friends to hang out with if he lived here. Now, off to promote you on my business fb page! :)

Hey Angel... We all luffs your plushies here at Sox Towers and Woger thinks he'd be very happy at your house. :) x
DeleteI *heart* wonky woger!! as I do all of your fings n stuff. He would be quite 'at home' with *Freaky, Gypsy, Radish and Sadsack...oh and the Ninja!* He would brighten up our new year xxxx (great to see you 'back' xx) Sharing x
ReplyDelete^^^^^ I'm such a Wonky one myself!! clair.f@sky.com xxx
ReplyDeleteDear Clair. Woger and I think you are not at all Wonky. He says he would LOVE to come and live with you if he got the chance. x
DeleteI would love to be his new roomie, I'm known for acting a bit..ahem.. "special" sometimes (meh! Who wants to be normal - how boring!) so he'd fit in wonderfully in our house of madness! (fantasy-is-our-ideal-reality@hotmail.co.uk) S x
ReplyDeleteNOBODY wants to be normal surely?
DeleteWoger says he can tell you'd make an ideal roomie just by your email address!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with the draw and belated happy birthday to you in malaysia. :) x
DeleteHe is the cutest odd thing I have seen allll year! It would be awesome if he was to come and join me, I would take him everywhere with me, even to my lessons at school so he can get out a bit!
ReplyDeletemilliewillyds@hotmail.co.uk
Hey Clare... Woger says he'd love to come to school with you if you win, providing you don't make him do any maths. Just the mere thought of a maths class makes him break into a cold sweat! ;) x
DeleteOh I adore wonky woger! We'd make a great team with our wonky teeth, maybe we could visit schools together to terrorise the children into looking after their teethies so they dont end up like me + woger ;)
ReplyDeleteIm completely smitten <3
not sure if my email is visable to you: missberavin@hotmail.co.uk
Woger said you had him at 'terrorising children!'
Delete;) x
i like sweeties, chocolate, smoking, red wine and tea. and i haven't seen a dentist since 2003.
ReplyDeleteif i won wonky woger, he'd wemind me to wing the dentist!
I think more likely he'd just join in with the drinking and the smoking! x
DeleteI think Wogher is fab. As others have said he reminds me of my train tracks brace I used to have to wear as a kid!! I would give Wonky Woger a fab home too. He could live on my desk with a very orange & bonkers looking cat as well as a drunk looking owl! :-) tressa.lapham-green@tate.org.uk
ReplyDeleteBonkers cats and drunk owls?
DeleteWoger says can he come now? ;) x
Hey Girl
ReplyDeleteI'll just sit here and cut all ur threads with my teeth!
xx
Hey Girl... you made us spit tea all over the keyboard!! ;) x
DeleteSo sorry, I spelt Wogers name wrong!! I have punished myself for my deed and I won't do it again, lol!!
ReplyDeleteHave you punished yourself severely? If so, then you are forgiven. Go in peace my child. ;)
Deletemuchas gracias for being the first follower on my blog - so I stumbled by and what a treat for the eyes - wonky woger is SCRUMBLY so please therefore enter me into your competition of epicosity (or epicsockity) - thanking you please
ReplyDeletebeekneehoonies@gmail.com x
Hey Hoonie Mamma... we are adopting the world SCRUMBLY and are going to use it for the rest of today and quite possibly the rest of forever. :) x
DeleteLittle M is twaining to be a dentist. (as she says they earn lots of money and could do with it to pay for her love of designer handbags) So why not send Woger our way and she can pwactise on him ;)xxx
ReplyDeleteWoger wants to know if he would get a sticker like when he goes to the weal dentist? ;) x
DeleteI would be an awesome parent for Wonky Wodger, I think he needs to join me in my house where he can terrorise all my felty birds (or bore them silly whatever he likes) he'll have lots of company and tickles at any rate *:D
ReplyDeleteMel aka feltmeupdesigns
Oh Melanie... Woger is a bit of a twitcher and says he would be in heaven if he came to live at your house. :) x
DeleteWonky Woger would love it in Wisconsin. I run a daycare and he could definately help me with the kids. He would be much loved here. Pick me, pick me!
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie. Woger says he fancies a spot of overseas travel. He likes the sound of Wisconsin! :) x
DeleteI love Woger so much! I have worked with "special" folks of one kind or another for nearly 2 decades and i love them so much, and would probably take Woger to work with me and let my kiddos love him too!
ReplyDeleteKim Sofia
Woger says you sound just lovely and he'd be sure to fit in with you :) x
Deletethat boy will need to pay serious attention to his dental hygiene. i am willing to take on the arduous task. i am very skilled at flossing and think i could show him the way. :)
ReplyDeleteTara, I think you scared him a bit, but I'm definitely on your side. You're probably just what he needs! :) x
DeleteI think I would make a suitable parent to this Wonky Woger guy. I too have big teeth and can relate to the disability. Plus I have many monster here waiting for a new friend. My monster's are a little angry so maybe a new smiling face could do some good around here! I will post this to my fb too. themdollz@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteOh hey Jen, we love your Dollz... Woger thinks he could come and cheer you all up no end! :) x
DeleteI was called fantastically weird the other day so I think we would make a perfect match ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you're gonna be weird then it's always better to be fantastically weird. That's what I always say! :) x
DeleteAnyone who bares special qualities as Wonky and Me should come to a home where not only he'll be loved but he'll be the center of attention. He will also go everywhere and take amazing pictures as he explores the land of Chicago. He'll meet more people who suffer from such beauty here as well. Plus, what better way then to find him a Valentine. <3
ReplyDeleteShhh...but tumblr knows about Wonky Woger and so does Facebook.
Jazzkind@yahoo.com
Oh you are so kind for sharing... and so clever that you can drive tumblr too. It makes my head ache. Chicago sounds splendid though, Woger is getting vewy excited! :) x
DeleteWaaahhhh {noise made when excited/uber cute things are spied}
ReplyDeleteI would love Wonky Woger becaaaauuusee.....I had a brace [they hurt!] and I am a trainee dentist & he would remind me that all teeth are beautiful....the wonkier the better....after all we don't all want to look the same do we? ;D embrace the wonkiness!
plus my sister (supercutetilly) has a little gubb who is missing his oddsox friends and would love a visit from Woger xxxx
lisa_smith486@hotmail.com
fingers crossed...
P.S.
please all brush your teeth :)...you too Woger!
Oh see, now Woger thinks you are super duper awesome just because you are supercutetilly's sister...
Delete(and then he got all worried because you are a trainee dentist and might not let him have chocolate buttons for breakfast, dinner and tea)! ;) x
i want him , i will pimp for you long time...without any dignity ..and then i will work out how you do those goddamn teeth and then i will go buy socks ...lots of socks ...yes.. socks and then the monkey madness will begin ....give him me you know you wanna ;)
ReplyDeleteShabster xx xxxxx
Now looky here Shabster... you stay away from our teeth or we keeeeel joooo. K?
Delete;) x
I am barren and have no children of my own (LOL) and would love to give Woger a good home. I have a friend or two that would just looooooove to make him feel at home at my house and we always welcome new Silly Billies into our abode. I am loving, caring, give good cuddles and have lots of toothpaste for his lovely teeth!! He would have a great home with us!!!
ReplyDeleteWe can't stop laughing at 'I am barren' - is that wrong? :D xx
DeleteMy son and I would love to give Woger a home he is super fantastic and would fit in perfectly with our 'special' family!!! Been stuck at home now for two weeks with my poorly son who has chicken pox so we could certainly do with a little cheering up and I think Woger would be perfect for this! :-)x
ReplyDeleteOh Erica, we're sorry to hear you have a spotty hobbit. We all hope that the little man is feeling better soon.
DeleteWoger sends big hugs. :) x
I am also too naughty and guilty of not wearing my brace, Woger!
ReplyDeleteI am now a reformed person! At 21 I had another brace fitted, but decided to go for a clear one, so as to be less obvious!!!
I didn't realise that it was not compatible with my favourite drink at the time - UFO (a blue drink in France). I went to a nightclub and soon was drawing lots of attention, little did I know it was because my brace was glowing a neon blue in the dark! It was a tad embarassing, but 12 years later I am still friends with the people I got chatting to!
I met those people because I didn't wear my brace and now I hope to meet you because you didn't wear yours! You can also remind that it's sometimes fun not to do as we're told!
Tori.higgins@talk21.com
Tori, Woger loved your story. He also wants to know if he comes to live with you, can he have the blue drink too? ;) x
DeleteI would like him to live with me because my teeth used to be one of my best features (I haven't got many, good ones that is) but since having 2 children a gap (about the size a bus could pass through) has strangely appeared in my two front teeth. Unexplained, and may beyond the help of any brace, so we could grin and bear it together! United by our tooth problems :) corriebishenden@btinternet.com
ReplyDeleteWoger just wanted my to inform you that it's uber cool to have a gap in your front teeth.
DeleteHe wishes he had one too! ;) x
Ooh, thanks Woger! I wonder if Dewey will think my teeth (or gap) are cool when he comes to live with me! :)
DeleteWodger i need YOU, i did not wear my brace either, My Orthodontists was The Devils Brother, he was nasty and scared the life out of me, i think you would enjoy living with me and i would take you down the beach and for walks in The New Forest and we will never mentioned teeth based things ever !!
ReplyDeleteHeidi M :D
heidi.godwin@rocketmail.com
will tweet this and FB it too
Heidi, Woger says will you take him to see the ponies? :) x
DeleteI promise to love Him, cherish, to the end of my days an nights, and nobody else. To be a good wife (wtf?) and cook nice meals. To clean up and always hug him to my... well breast :)
ReplyDeleteAnd... I have already prepared a place for him on my broom. We will have awesome journeys together, I I promise we will try not to fall down. Unless we want too :)
I am crazy enough to make His life... full of surprises :) LOL Together we can change the world, or not if we do not want to :)
Chepcher - you sound barking. And perfect for Woger. ;) x
DeleteWonky Woger looks amazing! I also never had braces as a child, and have a wonky front tooth, so I feel Wonky Woger's pain :(
ReplyDeleteWonky Woger would be a great addition too our household, as I live in a student house and everyone seems to own their own stuffed toy/creature... Except for me.
In room 1 there's a little hippo, who's name escapes me.
Room 2 houses a hefty amount of stuffed animals, and I couldn't possibly name them all!
Belonging to room 3 there's a big penguin called Weezy (who we all find obnoxious, although he is a stuffed animal that literally does nothing.)
In room 4... Well, it's hard to know.
And in room 5, my room, there is just me and me alone. But I would love a Wonky Woger to keep me company and to keep the obnoxious penguin away from me!
Shared the competition entry. Loving your creations. Hoping to buy at least one, when I finish my education and actually have some money to my name...
Laaahmad@hotmail.co.uk
Woger wants to come just to see what an obnoxious penguin looks like! ;) x
Deletei've just hopped over from hilary emerson lay's blog (per her request) and honestly and literally exploded/laughed at the screen when i saw your handsome dentally endowed dudes. <3 the teeth! like my fave blue box their mouths are clearly bigger on the inside. (thinking i now need to try this sock business)
ReplyDelete:D
ellynfrances
Hey Ellynfrances... thanks for popping over. That Hilary's a bit of a dude is she not!! ;) x
DeleteI've had to think long and hard about this one. But after reading some of the comments from your 'crafty' friends I think I arrived just in time to save poor Woger from a life of misery because it has just occured to me that they are just as crazy as Mrs Odd Sox herself! (I know this is true as I have known Mrs Odd Sox for a long time and I don't think she has ever been the same since we met in a miserable Ante-Natal Classroom! Woger NEEDS to come and live with a normal (?) family like mine. I have liked, resuscitated and shared your page and Woger's loverrrrly photo as asked. If I were to win Woger he would be given to a lovely sad friend who is in serious need of cheering up at the moment and I think Mr Wonky Woger is just the sox man to do it!
ReplyDeleteOh Lisa, how we all laughed when we read that you thought you were 'normal!'
Delete;)) x

ReplyDeleteI'd understand him because we totally have something in common -- I have big teeth too! Well, not all big, just two of them, my front uppers. I choose to think that it gives me the beauty of disproportion. Also, one of mine is slightly longer than the other. I choose to think it gives me the beauty of asymmetry.
ReplyDeletePlus I travel a lot, he'd have an interesting life.
eta: my email address
Jacey, if you can see the beauty in disproportion (we can too), then Woger is certainly the boy for you... :) x
Deletei demand you send woger to me. or byron gets it.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna tell Byron you said that.
DeleteThen you'll be sorry.
:D x
I realllllly need to win Wonky Woger for my very own little oddball Jason, he would make the perfect parent as he too is a little on the odd side but also very loveable :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's nowt wrong with being a bit odd Ang... we should know!! ;) x
Deletewell i tink Woger would be a fabbo addition to my home, ive already got smiley cacti on my crochet book shelf so a smiley gnasher-riffic wabbit would be wunderbubble :-)
ReplyDeleteive shared oin my crochet pagey for you too.. do hope woger finds a smiley home xxx
clairemariepowell@hotmail.com
Claire, anyone who has smiley cacti is alright by us! :D x
DeleteI have come via Facebook help make sure Woger finds his way to his most suitable home, I ask not for me nor my husband but a good friend of mine called Sam Cluett AKA the maker of Finspired page on facebook. It is she that introduced me to your page and would make the most Super Duper companion for Wonger for the following reasons
ReplyDelete1. She is the Cake Queen! yummy scrummy cake readily available on a daily basis
2. Woger could keep her company at craft fairs when alls gone quiet and the temptation is to go and find food to purchase he and he alone could tempt her back
3. she drinks copious amounts of coffee and so often has a simular facial expression to woger
4. Sam already speaks the lauguage of Odd sox....... it was a gift she was born with
5. did i mention she has cake?
so please send woger to his new mummy quick quick quick there are many adventures to begin x x x
sammyspillane@gmail.com
@sew sunnydaze
@finspired
Dear Sammy... you had us at cake... :) xx
Delete..... simply ...... because my little girl has fallen i love with him x
ReplyDeleteOh Sarah... what better reason could there be? :D x
DeleteI would make a great Parent for Woger because I would give him all the love (and then some) that he needs and deserves. You see I have been unable to have a Soxie of my own (though My husband and I have tried vigorously to have one). Though my husband has not reached a breaking point, I have. I am desperate. :'( *sob* I have always wanted a Soxie for my own, as a little girl I can remember growing up and my mama telling me, Terri you would make a great parent to a Soxie one day. It has been a lifelong desire of my poor mama to see me become a parent to a lovely Soxie and I would like to fulfill her desire before she becomes *ahem* shall we say a permanent member of "la la Land"? lol!! I know, I know, this post is everywhere, but hey it's me! What'd you expect? Lol!! Pick me and I will give him the best time of his life here in sunny Florida and he will get more love than his little body can fit into it. I have to girls that just adore these little guys and would help me give him MORE love!!! The long and short of it is he would be coming to a loving, exciting, caring and a little insane home. I am sure that he will fit right in! :) Have a wonderful day!!

Terri
His new adoptive mommy (hopefully) :D
Dear Terri, you are quite clealy hatstand. Woger would fit in perfectly well with you. :) x
DeleteOh he so would!! ^_^ And as soon as you post more Soxies I can give him siblings too!! Oh he would be soo happy!! I know that Woger has to be pretty hatstand too!! We are all mad hatters i believe, just waiting for the opportunity to spread the insanity!! Keep up the great work!!! <3
DeleteI should also point out - in addition to my earlier comment - that I am against decapitation of all creatures - of any kind. Thus it is a matter of urgency that he be placed with me and my family as soon as possible to save him from further danger of serious injury being inflicted on him by his creator. I would then recommend some "parenting little monsters" courses for Lady Odd Sox to prevent further damage being done to any of her future little monster creations. (Also the cupboard under the stairs needs to be blocked off - only child wizards can live in those!!!)

I would like to offer the lovely Woger not only a warm, safe and loving home but also a job! I volunteer with injured troops returning from Afghanistan and their families, at SSAFA Norton House in Selly Oak, Birmingham where I hold Reiki days to treat everyone to some relaxation and stress relief. I think Woger would be the perfect assistant on busy days, he could chat to the people waiting for their treatments and even snuggle down and njoy some therapy with them. His main job would be to make people smile, which is the most important thing to be done. He would feel right at home with his own wokiness after spending time with the soldiers, who happily accept all wonky people as they find them. In return he would be very much loved and adored and would make LOTS of new friends. If Woger fancies a career in smile therapy he would be most welcome to join us and become Weiki Woger. To start him off I have shared his page with everyone on my facebook page for 'Reiki Mama'.

Woger thinks you are doing a splendid job - he likes the sound of being Weiki Woger!! :)
DeleteI have slightly wonky teeth which I hate!! I was never offered a brace but I wish they had. My teeth take an age to grow down and it's only one but I'm so conscious of it! If I had a fellow teeth sufferer in my life, we could a) cheer each other up about our issues and b) smile to take the attention away from each other by showing our own teeth!
ReplyDeleteWoger says if you want to have a wonky teeth competition, then he wins!!
DeleteOh I just know the ickle lovely will fit in just fine up noooorth with me <3 He may have to tolerate my ginger beard, but hopefully he would see past my faults and love me like I would love him. But Woger might have to ease on the biscuits, as I adore them just as much as he does!! Coem home Woger :D
ReplyDeleteWoger is sighty worried that it might be 'grim 'oop north!'
DeleteGive him to me - I would feed him cake.
ReplyDeleteIf there's cake, can I come too?
